THE RONALD REAGAN AWARD
Recipients are chosen by their assistance in the previous year, or combination of years, in advancing the Republican Party at the local, state, or national level.
Merits are judged not only on service to the party, but service to the community on behalf of the Republican Party. Service to Buchanan County Republican Party will include: time spent working with the Central Committee, candidates, party as a whole, and/or local republican associations and clubs

THE RONALD REAGAN AWARD VOTING PROCEDURES
The award is voted on each spring by a committee comprised of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee, Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Lincoln Day Committee, and one member at large on the Lincoln Day Committee. The Chairman of the Central Committee will Chair the Award Committee. If there is overlap due to a person having more than one of these positions then another member at large on the Lincoln Day Committee will be chosen. The award is given to the recipient at the annual Lincoln Day dinner.
